The 6th National Phoenix Aralinks Quest 2020 recognized the questers and their coaches on January 31, 2020 at Sr. Aldophine Hall, St. Theresa’s College, Quezon City. Winners of the #AralinksQUESTVI received their awards and certificates during the closing ceremonies of the recently concluded QUEST Season 6, where students showcased their 21st century skills of collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking for individual and team stages. St. Therese of the Child Jesus Academy, Inc. emerged as the Overall Champion. Runners up were Infant Jesus Academy Marikina, St. Agnes Academy of Legazpi City, Albay, and Colegio Inmaculada Concepcion – Mandaue City, Cebu.
Meanwhile, Aralinks Coding Education students participated in the #AralinksShowcACE (Invention Challenge and Student Expo) for the second year, where they designed and built new inventions following the theme “The QUEST for Sustainable Communities.” School-crafted coding-powered projects were exhibited and demonstrated on the fourth day of the event. Three schools were hailed overall champions namely: Saint Louis School Inc. Center for Primary Division, St. Theresa’s College, Quezon City for Intermediate, St. Paul University Philippines for Junior High and Senior Divisions, respectively.
Quester Christian Ian Patalinghug of St. Alphonsus Catholic School from Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu said in his response, “One thing that Aralinks taught me is that technology and education can coexist harmoniously and we are living proofs of that. From Teachnology, Aralinks HUB to ACE program and everything that Phoenix Aralinks has to offer, they have really helped us all.” The five-day event ended with a video presentation, highlighting key moments in the biggest fully digital and coding-powered academic competition in the Philippines, featuring the song “Saludo” by Quest; a salute to the “creators of the future” who said, “We are Aralinks!”
